Great Flight Over Houston

Very nice! I'd say it looks like Astros colors, but that's not exactly a good thing right now. (Note: I'm a Houston native and disappointed Astros fan.)

Haha, I was right there in your shoes at this time last year. I eventually got my cross countries finished up at the end of February. Then, I had my check ride scheduled at the end of March. Due to weather delays and busy examiner schedules, I had to wait until mid July to complete my check ride! Never thought the day would arrive but it eventually did! Keep pushing and best of luck to you! What airport are you based out of?
 
That beats what I saw of Houston on Thursday. We came to meet the kids in Galveston for the weekend but wanted to visit a car dealer to trade cars, so flying was out. Had to drive from north Houston through town to Galveston. Your view was much better.

I’ve made that drive several times, it can be miserable depending on the time of day... Hope you were at least were successful with the car search!
 
Yeah, we got a good, no great trade of my wife’s 2012 Expedition on a 2019 high end one. The drive went remarkably well.

thanks. Based out of KTME. Got some hood time with my instructor today. Ceilings at 3500 this morning. So, some progress....
