Not new.

I recall a flight attendant was fired for "stealing" milk cartons returned on food trays. You don't mess with airline property, even if it's in the trash.
 
A commisary supervisor came looking for some donuts that were remove from an inbound flight. Seems the mechanics got to them before the flight attendents did. The girls were really ticked they didn't get "their" donuts. Good thing the evidence was gone before the supervisor showed up in my office.:rofl:

I got something closely resembling a muffin on Delta a while back. I'd guess its volume at roughly two cubic inches.
