GPS issue with iPad and Foreflight

Today when flying with my iPad mini and Dual external GPS it would not show the miniature airplane on the moving map in Foreflight. When I got home, I updated the iPad to latest iOS version and ran the Dual GPS utility which showed the satellites. I found there is an issue with Apple iOS 8.0 and the Dual GPS. Has anyone else had a similar issue ?

There was a problem with most of the external GPS units and iOS 8.0 but it was fixed in a later release of iOS 8.

No problems that I know of since then. What iOS are you running?

There is an option in settings to "show airplane" maybe it got turned off? I had an issue one time where I was using my phone as a hot spot for the iPad. I never shut it off when I got in the plane so the iPad stayed connected to my phone instead of connecting to the stratas I'm not sure how the dual GPS connects so that may be a non issue for you.

There was a known issue with IOS 8.3 and external GPS units that used Bluetooth. It was corrected in IOS 8.4 that came out at the end of June.

OP you may want to upgrade the OS. I believe there was a fix.

Thanks I updated the iOS to latest version and will test again.
