Remember Aero Glass from last summer?

There was a large amount of buzz and interest in the concept and the beta program. We even had a few threads talking about it (such as this one).

With the Oculus Rift about to go mainstream and now Google's introduction of Cardboard, it got me wondering again about how tech such as this would fit into the GA world. Then I remembered Aero Glass.

The chatter died out around Halloween last year. And I don't recall any since. Anyone else know of anything?

Haven't heard any thing in some time.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!

In reality though, I believe glass has been quietly put on the shelf somehwat

I had an oculus rift dk2 and among other things used it on flight sims. As a demo of technology it was great. I did flight sim flights and its really immersive. The downside was I would get nauseous after a bit. I'm sure they will improve it for the consumer version so looking forward to it.

Now the augmented reality stuff with Google glass or whatever is really neat. I would fly around with a set of cyborg glasses on.
