I will miss you...

...for about a week as I have the 91.411/413 dones and a couple new goodies put in the panel.

TKM radio: "See ya!"
Garmin SL40: "Well, Hello there."
Right side PTT: New
MFD/GPS: New one on the way.
VCC: being moved to try and alleivate the issue of not giving correct magnetic headings.
Hat rack: Being removed so I can put my Mountain Bike in the baggage area.


No flying this week, and yes it will still be ugly. But it's what's on the inside that counts, right?

How much were you drinking when you saw it at Gaston's? It's three shades of **** brown, and the paint is peeling.
 
Guess I need to be more careful reading things. I read the post title as "Goodbye 72708", a ZIP code and thought that you were announcing a relocation.
 
And I was about to get all misty-eyed... especially considering that I *think* I'm going to see you tomorrow...

I thought it was all the other pilots who were calling it ugly? I found out that am going to be a passenger in that plane and you can't even count how many "ugly" comments I got back to that. Or fugly. Or whatever.

I think it is cute. So there.

I've seen enough pictures of Ed to know that you all must be crazy to not be turning him in to the men's modeling agencies. I mean . . . look at him . . . tall and THOSE BLUE EYES. Who could resist?

Hopefully - But if they don't, the closest Walmart to Sidnaw is 59 miles away, so you might have to improvise a gag out of a bit of scat tubing and a throttle cable. :rofl:

What is scat tubing? And throttle cable sounds sharp and scratchy against skin - we don't want to hurt him, just shut him up!

Sounds like a challenge. Too bad I'm not going to make it to 6Y9 this year... I'll be in Rochester, NY that weekend. I might lose the title of having been to 6Y9 more times than any other PoAer except Ed and family. :sad:

I told em to yank the hat rack, so I will be able to fit the bike in no problem. Wheels off of course. Gonna talk to the A&P on the field to get me a W&B with and without the rear seat in as well. More room for the pup.

So, what kind of TKM, and what is gonna happen to it? I have a MX 12 and an MX 11, but I'm always curious.

And.... there ain't no way it is as ulgy as my plane... No freakin way.
 
It's an MX-11 and I am putting it in the box of unused avionics...an ADF, a VFR GPS, KX-145, old CDI, old ASI, old Altimeter....
