PA28, RV-7 and Long-Ez heading for KFFA (First Flight, Kill Devil Hills NC) Saturday weather permitting. Departing Roanoke Va late morning.

Anybody interested is invited to join in.

Thought it only fitting to take my canard to the home of the orginal canard flyers. :D (Childhood dream actually.)

Darn! I would, but I work until 1:15pm. By the time I could drive from Norfolk (work) to Chesapeake (DA-40's home), it would probably be too late to get down to FFA. If you want to stop in ORF/CPK on your way home, though, drinks (Cokes) are on me! Or I'd be happy to ride with you from ORF to FFA if you want to pick me up after 1:15 :rofl:.
 
We were talking about finding a good place to eat on the way back. ORF is not that much out of the way.

Any chance you can get out of work a bit early? Maybe call in well. "Sorry boss, but I woke up feeling too damn good this morining to come in. I would hate to spread it in the office..." :D

Haha! I absolutely would if I could! Unfortunately there are no reserves for Norfolk that morning, and my company's sick policy sucks (and my boss doesn't have a sense of humor). I'll do my best to book it home, though, if y'all want to swing through ORF for lunch/dinner!

Done and done. I can't believe none of our other PA/DE/MD/Northern VA friends want to join in :nono:.
