Snorting his way across the USA
Um, yeah, that's all.
Meh. The Warriors will just get Robert Horry out of retirement and solve this problem. Oh, wait, now I remember, you’re a hockey fan. But I can’t figure out why you’re rootin’ for the LA Kings.Um, yeah, that's all.
The NBA has become such a horrible product. It's hard to watch for me.
I haven't watched since 98. Last game I went to was in 1st grade. Game 2 of the 96 Final. Nosebleeds and somebody was in our seats when we got there. I remember nothing else. Football is trending towards unwatchable for me.The NBA has become such a horrible product. It's hard to watch for me.
I heard they won. The game didn't start until 7:30 anyway and I would have been nighty night before the game ended anyway. No, I'm not that big of a fan.
Bullcaca. We know you was watchin’ the Hurricanes Islanders game. You know, this almost deserves a rant in itself. Saturday's game was local - as in the 916. Well okay I shuttle between the 916 and the 510, but I am more often in the 916. I couldn't watch the game. The game was on ABC Channel 10, a local 916 broadcast channel. Except - drumroll, they quit broadcasting a few years ago. Every OTHER single local broadcast station still broadcasts, just not Channel 10.
Sunday. I'm paying for it, why not use it. The capacity to stream local broadcast channels through the Xfinity. After hours of setting things up and configuring things, vwah lah, I'm able to get Channel 10, for Monday's game, which, is local, as in downtown Sacto, same place as Saturday's. Yippy skippy, right?
Wrong. For whatever reason, they decided NOT to air the game on Channel 10, but rather TNT and a small slew of other premium cable sites, which I do not get. No, I'm not paying for more than basic Internet service with some bundled lame free channels, because I'm already paying WAY TOO MUCH for basic service already. Why is it I can watch the Superbowl on broadcast local TV, but not a local basketball game?

You can actually watch for free, in a manner. On or after tipoff time go to www.nba.com, hover your mouse over the box score, click on "watch" and look for this button.they decided NOT to air the game on Channel 10, but rather TNT and a small slew of other premium cable sites, which I do not get.
If a pilot flies through "The Beam", can they bring up federal charges against De'Aaron Fox for getting lased?
My wife listens to a radio show (via podcast) that is on a station in Sacramento. She had it on in the car yesterday, and the topic of discussion was "The Beam". Some really hate it, and some love it apparently...

It's a raw camera feed, so you'll need to provide your own play-by-play and color commentary, perhaps by going to https://sactownsports.com and clicking "listen live".
I'm guessing it's the one that used to feature Rush Limbaugh?
No, it was on a radio show called RAD Radio.
Game 4 tomorrow...I might give it a shot if I haven't started sawing logs by the time it starts.
According to Wikipedia, they still broadcast. I see that they did a ATSC3.0 switchover a few years ago. Yeah, that's why you need to tell your TV to do a re-scan every now and then. That's just life in the era of digital TV broadcasting.for whatever reason I am not picking it up. Dialing in the specific channel is no joy.

Yes. When you press "1,3" on your remote, it does not actually tune to the 13th frequency. Instead, it tunes to virtual channel 13. VC13 may correspond to the 13th frequency, or it may correspond to 69th. The TV has a software table that maps virtual channels to frequency channels that gets populated/re-populated every time you do a scan/re-scan. That allows the FCC to move frequencies around without you having to re-memorize where everything is. All you have to remember is "13=ABC". But the bigger cost savings comes from TV stations being able to move transmitters around without having to re-brand the entire station. But the fallout is that everyone has to do a re-scan every now and then. But how is a rescan going to help if it can't pick it up by dialing the channel? Does a rescan do something that pressing 1 and 3 doesn't?

Several years ago, the FCC de-allocated a bunch of TV frequencies and re-allocated them to cell phones, known as "The Repack". A little more recently, stations have been upgrading to ATSC 3.0, which wasn't as invasive as the repack, but did move a few stations around here and there.
Ah, so a reception problem. Upgrading to ATSC 3.0 by buying a new TV is supposed to help with that, but that's probably not something particularly interesting to you.It detected the channel, but the signal was not strong enough to connect.
