Glen wasn't a pilot but an aviation enthusiast like none other. He lived in New Zealand and made it to all the aviation events. I met him at Oshkosh in 2016 or there abouts and we were online friends ever since.
He was really big into supporting aviation and dare I say it, youtuber aviation. If someone was live streaming, he was in the live chat always sharing knowledge and making friends.
I just texted him to tell him I was thinking about him (He had cancer) then I opened up facebook and learned he passed away.
His mom passed away recently and he flew to the UK for her funeral which was yesterday.
While he was there, felt sick so he went to the hospital. Last week and they said he had Covid and also lung cancer. 6 days later, he's gone.
