Was that an AOA on the panel of the guy filming? o_O

And are the fighters joining in with the airliner dropping chemtrails on the citizens below?

I didn't watch the video but the initial frame (pic) suggests these are merely HAECD's. High Altitude Enroute Crop Dusters.

Uh....effing no. It's a friggin windshield wiper. But, it's also about as useful, maybe more so , than the AoA.

All I could find was that the indian 777 did not check in for a couple of sectors starting in czech airspace. Attempts to raise them on guard also didn't get a response.

Lovely lighting of the clouds and vapor trails.

The "UFO" is at 1:30 in the video, moving rapidly from left to right. I'm guessing it is another airliner, a few thousand feet lower, headed perpendicular to the main airliner in the story.
 
If ATC doesn't talk to you in 10-15 minutes, IFR, non 'Class II nav', it's good to check in. Yes, groundspeed & time of night factor in.

International it's good practice to highlight FIR boundaries. That's a point where one gets a freq change near 100% of the time.

When unresponsive, it's much more likely a crew slip up than a '7500' event.
 
I wonder how many passengers will claim "emotional distress" from an attempt at their life by the jetfighters and file a lawsuit for millions of dollars ....
Oh wait, this happened over Europe, nm, carry on, no frivolous lawsuits allowed.


On topic, though, do airliners not have flip-flop style radios where they can return to the previous frequency in case they cannot establish coms on the new one?
Also, they are required to have charts so finding the right center frequency should be a non-issue.
Somebody needs re-training maybe?
 
Not all center freq are printed on IFR charts. And ICAO or Euro charts might not have any.
 
The speed they go there's a good chance they get out of VHF range of the previous frequency pretty quickly, too.
