George Clooney

Was making a Connection in St. Louis on Wednesday evening and George Clooney was there shooting scenes for his new movie "Up In The Air" - no idea what it's about. Man is he a small guy - short and skinny!

Funniest moment was when the cops wouldn't let us go to our gate because they were about to shoot a scene - someone yelled "extras" and all these "background people" started walking down the concourse - the guy I was travelling with jumped in with them and casually strolled through the concourse - he's hoping to make the movie.

I gotta tell you though - those "extras" who were stewardesses (or is it "flight attendants") were substantially better looking than the ones on my flight!

A couple of weeks ago I was on my way to the gate at KORD and they were filming a TV pilot. I was being filmed as I walked by.

I think the show was called Sweet Romance. Greg might know I had just ran into him a few minutes earlier in the B-concourse and he was heading that way.

My freind and I rode our bikes 10 miles or so through Central NJ along Route 22 (I was 11? 12?) to the new Toys R Us in Westfield where Steve Austin, the 6 Million Dollar man was appearing.

We waited in the line for hours that snaked outside and inside the store.

Finally, the moment came: He walked by and shook each hand.

He wasn't so strong....
