Good post, I will take a look tonight if the weather is clear. I read about the big CME that hit back in the 1860's. If we got one like that again it would shut down communications for a few weeks!
 
What? You mean to tell me that forces outside the control of mankind can affect the solar system and climate of the planet? :yikes:

Why not? Climate scientists are well aware of the existence of natural climate influences, and take them into account in their models.

Do you believe that the existence of natural causes of climate change somehow proves that ALL climate change is due to natural causes?

If you want to disprove what climate scientists are saying, you first need to FIND OUT what they're saying. Here, for example, is a major defender of anthropogenic global warming theory expressing skepticism about data that seemed to dispute the sun's influence on climate last year:

The current article on the same Web site, discussing volcanic influences, clearly shows that the climate science community takes natural influences seriously enough to actually investigate them.
