GDL 60 Datalink with PlaneSync

$4000 plus install plus $30 a month to see if the FBO filled your tanks??????

Oh, and add in the possibility of running your battery down. :D

The auto updating of the databases would be a plus for some. For some hardwiring it to the batteries would be a huge negative.
 
True, but still, $4000, plus what, $2000+ to install, plus $30 per month. It does give you the connectivity to your iPad like an FS510.

But the FS510 is $1500. Virtually no install. And database updates take a few minutes each month
 
Yeah, the AMUs are always a negative but finally getting remote access to the plane is cool. I'm assuming other remote features like uploading flights plans etc. might come in a later software updates

Probably uses their high speed bus, like the GDL88, which the G3X doesn’t have.
Any of the once experimental hardware doesn’t support it.
