garmin pilot display time out iphone 8

using my iphone 8 on my yoke to run garmin pilot app as a back up to my 796. The display times out even though its plugged into power. I cant find any settings to keep it on. Anybody know how to do it ?

Try settings (in Garmin Pilot itself) >Prevent Auto Lock. Choices are While moving, Always, Never. I have while moving and it seems to work. (on an iPad)

thanks. Mine was set to while in motion I will try it on always.. Ipads have a sleep when in flight toggle. Maybe Iphones just cant do it.

Yes it can. I use garmin pilot on my phone, set to always
