Garmin G3X no navigator practice approach course selection

G3X touch, when doing a practice visual approach with just the G3X, the COURSE isn't boxed and selectable. If I'm doing an approach and need course set to 271 for runway 27, it is showing at 310, but no idea how do I change the course?

Does anyone using the G3X for practice this way know how to change this?

Isn’t the approach selected in the GPS?

called Garmin. A setting in my Nav/com wasn’t sending serial data to the G3X. CRS is selectable in GPS mode. Have not tried to see if it’s the right course when tuned to ILS
