Hello,
I have Garmin G3X in my Evektor Sportstar MX. Couple days ago it got stuck with this opening screen. No keys work including Enter key. The system just does not respond! I have tried powering off and then powering again on different days - but it just gets locked in there!

Any ideas? Help?

Thanks!

5 years outdated data? It’s doing you a favor!

To perform a hard reset on a Garmin G3X, turn off the device, then press and hold the "Menu" button while simultaneously turning the power back on until the system restarts; this should initiate a factory reset, erasing all user settings and data.

Then pony-up and install current firmware, charts, and data.

I thought that just put you into the configuration mode?

It did not go into any config mode.
It keeps getting stuck at the same screen as below!

btw, it was working all fine until a couole days ago!

From your picture, it kinda looks like the 2nd and 5th (from left) arrow (soft) keys are stuck depressed... you might try flicking them with your fingernail to pop them back out. It might be registering those erroneous keys pressed and preventing other keys from registering.
