Which one's a better system? I want in and out wired to an iPad and a 430W.
thanks!
thanks!
Neither can be "wired" to an iPad.I want in and out wired to an iPad
If I were intentionally trying to be a pain, I would have pointed out that the GMA 345 is an audio panel.I give up. bluetooth. unit is hard wired to the airplane panel is what I meant. sorry if I'm confusing you today
Are you referring to the GNX375? The GTX345 display is a little bit crude. The Garmin 345 is ADS-B Out/In with In displayed on a small screen.
Selling the 430 and going with the 375 might be a good option, if the price delta is not to bad. Get a unit that will be serviceable for many years to come instead of a gps with a very limited Support time frame.
I’d get the 375 and still keep the 430 as a backup Comm/Nav if it were me.
The price to swap 430w to gnx375 will escalate quickly because you'll need com and (if you want, vhf nav). Then you're wiring into the audio panel too - adds up. Might just be cheaper to keep the 430 and get the 375 anyway. As far as esg vs 345, tough call. But if you ever want traffic on your panel, don't do the ESG because you can't do panel traffic. Ive got the ESG tied to iPad. zero complaints. But I'd go 375 if I had the choice.

Negative.I thought the GNX375 includes a COM. The plane likely has a backup NAV radio.

I'm learning that the Stratus system doesn't give me traffic
It has a wing mount ADS-B thing which may need to go...
