G5 flush mount

I have a 172n with dual g5 not flush mounted would I have to get a new panel to have them flush mounted

Probably new panel.

They carry flush mount kits. I just had one installed in my bonanza. They cut out the location in the panel and rivet in place. Little bondo and paint and it looks great. I wouldn’t see why that couldn’t happen in a 172.
