G5 "Aligning" error (as AI)

Different forum has 3 owners wth G5 as an AI and in less than smooth air have gotten "Aligning" errors and when it comes back online it's not aligned. Anyone here have this occur? Obviously a troubling thought if it occurs in IMC.

I have flown with mine in some teeth chattering turbulence and have never had any problems.

Old thread resurrected... I had a G5 aligning error message on Thursday evening coming over the Appalachians IFR in severe turbulence. Anyone else have this issue with a G5? This was the first time it has had this issue. The GRT and Dynon EFIS's also in the plane continued to function normally.

First, I would check software level and update it if not current.
