G3X load procedure without Navigator

I have G3X in my Bristell and until recently I was able to load a approach from the flight plan tab to at least follow it on my G3X despite not having a navigator

Did something change w recent updates?

mine still does it. I dont have an IFR navigator eiher. Highight the airport hit menu select approach. How long has it been since you updated your software ? Thats might need to be ruled out.

Literally started after the update to the new version, I had approach options before.

Maybe try a reload of the software. Maybe you may need to update your charts as well. I bet its one of those types of problems. Good Luck.

Trying to update again and no joy, I guess a call to Garmin I would hate to go back a revision.

Is the Bristol a certified or experimental or LSA aircraft ? I know they have different updates for the experimental planes.

I have a Grumman Tiger. One time the checklist disappeared but it came back after a power cycle.

When I installed a GFC 500 autopilot the G3X refused to acknowledge the servos until I updated it to the latest software so software is pretty critical to that thing.

it was user errror somehow i got a VFR only subscription added to my VFR/IFR and it was overriding the IFR which wouldn't let it show.
