Hello all,

so as some may know, my truck has been in the shop for a while now...The current Fuel Filter housing has been leaking for some time now, and since I'm getting this other work done I want to fix this as well. Now some may say to go all out and get one of the super expensive fuel filter kits, but at this point that's not happening. I have the option to replace the housing with a factory one, or I've been thinking about switching to a slightly newer housing so that it is easier to swap filters out(like this one https://puredieselpower.com/dodge-p...using-canister-conversion-kit-fs19586kit.html).

I was wondering if anyone had any tips as to whether I should go for the newer housing and if it is difficult to install or maybe a better system that doesn't break the bank?

Thanks.

The only guy I know who would know the best fix for that, is the main mechanic and owns the shop I use.

@gkainz referred me to him.

MaxTorq Diesel in Golden, CO. Rob will know.

He's insanely busy. Usually his wife answers the phone and if I'm calling with a question that's not urgent I'll let her know that right away so as not to interrupt him if he's out in the bays.

Thanks. I ended up buying the kit and it should be here tomorrow. Looks like the conversion shouldn't be too hard.
