Anybody found an easier way to have ForeFlight take you right to the dep procedure “takeoff min” quickly?? When I look up the departure procedure on ForeFlight for an airport that only had the “takeoff mins”, I click on the that and it just takes me to the beginning of the takeoff min book, not to the page that they airport is on. Kind of annoying. Then have to flip away to find it.
I print out all possible approaches for flight anyway to avoid using ForeFlight in the plane for charts. So I find that I have to print out the takeoff min for each field I’m going to.

Unfortunately, so far, at least, tapping on Takeoff Minimums just brings you to the volume, not the specific page. Even without printing it, it would be nice if the tap went to a bookmarked page.

Since you one one of the guys who prints them out anyway, why bother doing it within ForeFlight?

Click on take off minimums then hold your finger on the screen and use the search feature.

Type in the airport name and it will show you what you need.

Hope that helped!

That's one nice advantage of GP. Once you input the flight plan, all the procedures, take-off and alternate minimums are loaded automatically. Even better, the TO and Alt minimums are not the full list, but pages for the specific airport(s) in the flight plan. I've seen too may FF pilots struggle getting the plate up on the fly.

That does seem like a significant advantage of GP compared to FF.
I have had the same struggles with FF (while on the ground preflighting).

It would be very disconcerting trying to find it while in the air.

I agree with the comments about using GP garmin pilot is it pops right up. Another feature, it will tell you if you need an alternate when filing. Changing my departure time by 5 minutes was the difference between needing an alternate and not.

What I end up doing is just taking a screen shot of the “take off minimums”
From Foreflight on the ground. So that it is the first thing on my photo album, so that I do not have to go looking for it in the air. I know exactly where it is.
That is my work around.

I’m a print out everything guy still. I use ForeFlight to look stuff up at home and print. I print out the dep procedure and put in line with the flightplane I made up with all possible approaches. A bit wasteful with paper yes. But I like looking at paper. I can jot a clearance or soemthing quickly.
