Flying the Eisenhower transition in Chicago

The Eisenhower transition is a VFR shortcut from the lake shore to the west, between the surface areas of O’Hare Class B and Midway Class C. Here’s a video showing how it can be used.

They could hear me, I couldn’t hear them. Maybe I should have pushed the squelch knob being so low.

I’ve found that using any sort of “consumer” 12v to USB charger/power source can slowly cause the squelch to be raised resulting in issues like this.

Very annoying. :/
