The sun was just breaking out, lightly, when I took the shots. Before that the harbor was socked-in, even over the dock. The gulls had no problem doing 2-point landings on the rail and waiting for handouts from the diners at the wharf's tables. At the barely-pictured table I was talking with a family from Indiana. They bought two of my books, one of which the cover is my aerial shot of where we were sitting. The gift(souvenirs) shop on the other dock, partially seen in photo 2, is going to be carrying my books during the summer. FedEx will arrive on Tuesday with the latest printing. We've had nothing but overcast and rain for several days. My brother in Saint George, Utah, today iPhoned me a picture of his thermometer - - 118 degrees, and it went to 120 deg. when I called him. Crazy WX.
