Fly Q EFB - Deal until 3/25/15

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I use FlyQ and I got an email from them saying that if you purchase FlyQ and can prove a paid subscription to another major EFB they will add on 1 year to your purchase. Must buy FlyQ before Wednesday night. VFR is $69 and VFR + IFR is $119. That price includes synthetic vision, unlike FF.

I am not affiliated with them, I just think its a good deal and letting you guys know.

Is there a current comparison of the features/benefits of FlyQ vs ForeFlight that anybody has stumbled across?

My CFII uses FF and there are some things it does nicer than FlyQ. But I personally think the price difference is enough to sway me. I bought FlyQ during a black Friday special over a year ago and my IFR expires in Nov this year and my VFR next summer. Huge savings over FF.

This is second major release they have had and if they keep going they may be "better" than FF someday.

I also saw they reset the trial period so if you have tried it earlier you can re try now for free.
