Flight of Passage - Movie

Greetings all,

Like many of you I have read Rinker Buck's "Flight of Passage" detailing him and his brother's cross-country flight. First read the book five or six years ago.

Recently learned that a movie appears to have been made. There is some stuff on it here:

Can't seem to find the movie anywhere. Anyone know where one can go about watching it?

Seeing as how he's in the trailer, that's a safe bet...

Looks like it will be a fun movie... and judging from the teaser, almost nothing at all to do with the book except for two kids in a Cub.

I will concede that his total screen time in the trailer is probably less than 1 second, divided between at least two clips.

As long as they accurately depict the scene near the end of the book where they are dealing with a bunch of avocados (and if you can read that without busting a gut you have no sense of humor) it will be a great movie.

I’m just hoping there’s a water bag in the movie.

They presented this movie at Oskosh in 2016 and showed a fairly lengthy teaser. I thought it looked like a fun movie, but I wish they'd finish the dang thing already.

Movie is not out yet. Will it get made? Dunno... I sure hope so. Great book, lots of potential as a movie. Haven't even heard that it's in pre-production yet, though.
