This is one of my favorite recurring posts here. I kinda like that muskateer...

It's a good solid plane, but you wouldn't like it after flying the Circus around. And, most importantly, no red handle.

supposedly they found some kind of crack in the wing spar or something to that effect, and didn't want to spend the money so now they're selling it to some unsuspecting person.

I had a student who used to fly the same airplane all the time during training. When the airplane came up for sale, the owner of the flight school said to him, "hey, why don't you buy it, I know you like it?" His response was, "Hell no! I learned to land in that airplane, so I know what it's been through!"

Isn't Van Bortel a pretty reputable seller tho? All their planes are over-priced so I assume they must put a lot of work into getting them ready to sell... : )
