Firefighter Exam.

The agility tests just get crazy sometimes.

I wonder how many professional firefighters would be able to pass those tests 10 years (and approx 3000 donuts) into their career :wink2: .

Assuming the average age of new hires is 22 and minimum time to make capt is around 15 yrs of service, I would say a very high percentile will pass after 10 yrs.

About those agility tests; certainly are physical strength and stamina big factors but equally important is knowledge of how to carry, how to move...basically using leverage and not simply rely brute strength. I've seen strong men not pass meanwhile that underfed looking kid does pass.

That video may be a real test but I doubt it.

I think the video is a well conditioned and practiced team demonstrating a top performance of a drill that typically will take 4-5 times longer to perform.
