Ferry Pilot Needed Bo From Austin, TX to Missoula MT

Need a CFI/Ferry pilot to get an N35 Bonanza from the Austin TX are to the Missoula MT area. I need 5 hrs dual for insurance, probably more for practical purposes. I'm in Mississippi and need to get back to Missoula By Mondayish and would prefer to fly the plane with a CFI to MT from Austin in the next few days as opposed to flying the airlines back.
 
You might contact Alan Gilbert (he's on the board, username ntbjounin ), see if he has time. Good guy, instructor, Bo-experienced.
 
Sorry I'm tied up this weekend - BUT - I could catch a flight out of Minneapolis on Sunday to Austin. Probably not that expensive of a flight, haven't looked, wouldn't be able to stick around MT as originally planned would just airline it back to LNK as soon as I could.

I just checked with my life long best friend whom is getting married on Saturday. Apparently I'm not allowed to miss his wedding :)

Hey there. I am available this week if I can help. Let me know. Im very bonanza experienced and a cfi. And I love both Austin and Missoula! Lol
I live in Dallas, but thats a 45 min flight on southwest. (and thank u Spike).

Glad to hear you found a way to get it home. They're a fine airplane. Much faster then what I'm looking at buying right now :)

Gracias, I didn't really appreciate the speed difference over my Cherokee until we made it back to MT (my stomping grounds) and a trip I make that I consider "all the flying I want in a day" turned into a quick hop.
 
Yeah, location for those things doesn't seem to matter if the pilot can remember where it's located in whichever airplane he happens to be flying at the time. (At some point that's not as easy as it sounds.)

Very similar avionics to my bird, I just don't have the big screen.

I occasionally fly a Pa28 that has it right there (and the bruises on my shin to prove it).

Not in the way at all on the Bo as far as I can tell... I sat there for 7-8hrs or so and my leg never touched it :)
 
The panel is different but much better than most Bo's of similar vintage. Since its your plane you can get used to it. It looks like its been well maintained and congrats on your new bird! You picked a good one
