Fellow pilot needs our help

If any of you can help Matt out that would be great. I sent him Memphis, Dallas and KC.


We are asking the pilot community for used sectional aeronautical charts for a charity fund raiser for the American Diabetes Association.

These sectional charts will be used to navigate a simulated transcontinental route from New York to Los Angeles. The donated charts can be used or outdated because the entire flight will be performed in elaborate FLIGHT SIMULATORS.

Specifically, we are requesting the following sectionals:

New York
Detriot
Cincinnati
St. Louis
Memphis
Dallas-Ft. Worth
Albuquerque
El Paso
Phoenix
Los Angeles

NOTE: We don't condone the use of expired charts for actual navigation. We're using ground-based simulators for this fund-raising event and the money we save by using old charts will be put towards the fund-raiser.

Please let me know if you have any of the above charts.

Would bound cut up sectionals work (airchart system)? Mine are about to expire.
 
I have Albuquerque, Cheyenne, Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix outdated charts. I'll go ahead and contact them.
 
No Problem Dean. I just emailed him today he shot a note back and I will be mailing him NY, Washington, Detroit and Chicago expired sectionals.
 
Thanks for the post Dean , i talked to him and I'm sending him my NY,Wash,Chi,and Detroit Sectionals. Told him i maybe able to and others. Dave G

I assume its safe to assume that the charts arrived safely in Matt's hands then?

I should have 2 of these 3 (LA and El Paso); may have all three. I'll check in the morning, and if I have 'em, I'll IM for mailing address.

I just saw this - I have a bunch of old Detroits, but I think he's covered there. If he needs the adjoining regions, Lake Huron and Chicago, let me know !

Do they need multiple copies, or are they covered now?

I have NY, Washington and Detroit that they can have.
