Which are arguably illegal to install on the 172. Cessna never made carbon fiber nor fiberglass wheel pants for the 172. There appears to be neither authority to install nor are these legitimately produced aircraft parts.

The RV6 is fair game however.

I've owned both a t craft and a champ...both trophy winners, that had fiberglass wheel pants . The t craft s pants were made by the restorer and both sets were perfect and sturdy. Worked great. Never questioned at annuals by any one. I'd put the ones described on a 172 in an instant.

You might want to ask him to include taxes, tariffs and duty paid. And possibly insurance which is usually 3% of the value if it covers full containers. On the tools I import (drill presses, pedestal belt grinders, metal band saws, etc.) by the container load there is a $5,000 penalty if the customs paperwork is not filed correctly before the shipment leaves the port of origination. I do not know what is required on single item shipments but you might want to check.

Second, double check your English as I know it is your second (or third) language but "covered with soil" means that it is dirty, therefore NOT ready for painting.
