I heard that RyanB, a 20-something, flew over 100 miles, round trip, in a plane without a GPS/Magenta line to follow, used a VOR, and did NOT declare an emergency!

I submit this is fact, but I realize the skeptical reception this will receive.

You also have to watch out that you’re in the lead position during the 10 mile straight in. Otherwise the chute blooms in front of you and you have to break off.
