Good evening! Im currently at FSI getting my type rating on the Legacy 500 and im getting my FAA ATP based on prior experience (ICAO license holder) Im getting a Multi engine ATP, my question is what would be the process to add single engine (private or commercial would work) on my ATP? Do I need to do again the ATP written or just go to a school and request some hours and a check ride? I currently have about 2,000 hours single engine as PIC cross country on my ICAO ATP (Pilatus, TBM)

Thanks!

My copilot currently faces the same thing…

Best we can tell, he can avoid the written by getting a single engine ATP. Otherwise, it appears you have to do a written.

Usually the problem is the amount of time you need, which isn’t a problem for you.

Please keep us updated on what you definitively find!

You won't need to retake the ATP written. Just find a school and instructor to give you a single-engine add-on endorsement, and then pass a checkride. Your 2,000 hours of single-engine PIC time should help keep the training to a minimum.
