F-16 delam during an airshow yesterday. This is what happens when contract out to Mexico to do composite work on stabilators.

 
I had an aileron do that in Bahrain on the Harrier. In our case we think it was the extreme heat and just an old control surface. Unfortunately, it happened on the day of our flyoff to come home and I was stuck there for another week. It’s amazing what Marine Airframers can do with a tub of putty and some c-clamps, lol.
 
I didn't remember the GE F-110 being that smoky.
 
We've blown stabs apart in testing. Looks like the trailing edge casting failed.
