My friend's son(in-law) works(or worked) on this bird. Experimental? Looks as though quite a success.

I'm not certain of the "where" he serviced the bird. He had spent years with Lear Jet, in Kansas. Coming back to Maine he now is one of many in the crew of restoration of Lufthansa's Constellation Starliner which used to belong to Maurice, who kept two of them adjacent to his home(adjacent to Runway 22 at KLEW). Lufthansa built a huge hangar at KLEW to enclose the restoration project. Below are some photos I took a few years back while I was at Maurice's house.

Kevin also used to work on the Presidential helicopter but I don't remember who was President at that time.

According to the tag on the picture, it was taken in April 2003. This was prior to certification of the Challenger 300, thus the Experimental tag.

Or, maybe Kevin built a clone in his garage, I dunno . . .

Thanks; I think at that time Kev was still in Kansas. He and Dawn came back to Maine a couple years ago -- to Maine Aviation - Portland. Then came the Lufthansa restoration project.
