Everyone ok after last night’s tornadoes?

Hope POA folks’ homes, families, work, and planes are OK. Looking at live streams now from AR & KY. Wow.

It was sporty, but we're OK here at KCKV.

Thoughts and Prayers for our neighbors in KY and surrounding TN counties.

I've lived here a little over 22 years now, and I am used to this weather pattern, but I don't remember this many tornado warnings in such a short time, and close proximity. It will be interesting to see what the NWS finds after their surveys are complete.

Ok here in Central IL. My former Archer isn't far from Mayfield, KY. Hopefully it's ok.

 

[Initial Fix]

No damage. There was a Tornado just a few miles from the hangar. The rotation looked to have passed barely north of the airport.

Tornado went along, or over, Rough River Airport. From the videos, damage appears to be on the North side of the road.

Unlikely we'll hear from anyone seriously affected. When we had an outbreak like this several years ago, it was days before most people could get back online. Given the damage, I'm sure checking in here is nobody's priority.

So sad. So much life lost. Heartbreaking for us pilots to see all the damaged planes, too. But the loss of life is really the most horrible thing.
