Ever experimented with drugs? Thought about it?

I've got one in the house somewhere. The look on my daughter's face the first time she used it was priceless.

I could have used one of those at one point.

Actually, I had a fish tank. I became convinced that the fish were starting at me. Later I discovered the the fish really were staring at me.

I worked maintenance and night security at a big art festival recently for several months. After seeing every single piece of art for the 40th time (that night), it gets BORING beyond your wildest boredom and you get pretty giddy around 2am due to the idiotic irregular hours and lack of sleep.

You have to keep your numbed out mind busy or you'll fall asleep...and there was this one booth with a bunch of really nice kaleidoscopes.
Extreme exhaustion, boredom, mind drain, bits and pieces of your mind passing out, an overactive imagination, borderline hallucinations due to lack of sleep for weeks, knowing you have to stay awake for another 4-5 hours, a flashlight, and one kaleidoscope for each eye is NOT a good combination at 3am.

That's fine until the statues start making fun of you at 4am.
There were 1756 art pieces in there one night. I know. I counted them. Twice.

Four very rough months. I am so glad I don't have to work again until January 2012 unless it's strictly for fun.
