Are we sure it was ‘bad weather’? I don’t know the exact time, but at 1st glance don’t see all that terrible of WX or winds.
 
I wonder if they had jammed flaps. When I worked at ExpressJet as a tech we had several no flap landings per year due flap problems. Landing speeds were pretty high. We use to go out on the ramp to watch the high speed landing with emergency crews chasing behind them when the pilots called in with the problem. This is back when we had flip phones with no cameras.
We were also told that those are 20/20 jets. $20M for 20 years and then replace them. This one at 21 years old it's on borrowed time.

Paris de Gaulle (CDG) is less than 5 minutes away with a couple of 13,000'+ runways.

Never mind. I looked at Orly's runways and they have 2 runways over 10,000 feet. Should be able to stop most anything in that distance, even if the runway was wet.

I guess we'll wait and see what happened.
