Disgusting, theres a beautiful creek down below my house but its totally trashed I've been working my @ss off hauling tires and trash out. I get to the end of the wooded part of the stream and theres a pile of atleast 50 or 60 tires all piled into a ditch, theres no way i can safetly get them out because the foliage is just too thick. Some of them look like fresh tires too! Is there anything I can do to prevent more tire dumping or to get them out? Heres what ive hauled out already.

along with another equally sized pile.

You could have one hell of a fire with those.... :D

Dumping sucks Austin. Good on you for pulling them out. I suspect you could rig a camera or sit and wait but that could be dangerous. Call your local PD and report it as well as the state eviormental protection agency,

I'd shoot for your county health department - tires make an awesome breeding ground for mosquitoes, and such buggies carry all manner of offensive diseases. Swine flu? Bird flu? Kung fu?

Put up a couple of trail-cams.

If it is hard for your to haul them out, it required a vehicle to haul them close enough to the creek to get them in. A file with pictures showing the dumpers in action may compel your local law enforcement agency to ticket the perpetrators.

I'd just slap a sign from wherever they're most likely rolling them indicating the area is under surveillance. They'll probably go away.

If they were able to roll them down - you can pull them up.

Well there is a meadow like ravine on one side, but to get over to my house I have to bushwhack through to get back from there, The ones in the picture are just hte ones that were strewn along from the water. The surveilance sign is a good idea.
