This is one of those clips that reminds me how mindblowingly brave the people were who flew these things into combat. You can see how carefully they're stepping out of the bomb bay - in stable flight, on a CAVU day, in what appears to be slow flight (judging from the flap setting). I can't fathom doing this in an upset attitude, being shot at, in a smoky and burning airplane, in a hastily attached parachute- knowing you're headed for cold water or enemy territory.

This is why we keep these aircraft flying, to remind us of what we have to be thankful for.

And I'll add these guys are crazy to jump from a perfectly good airplane!

They should have racked 5 jumpers, horizontally, on each side of the bomb bay and then had the bombardier toggle them out.
