Does anyone own a JMB VL3 here?

Hi there,
If you do own one, I have some general questions.


Some questions:

-what’s the median annual inspection cost?
-what’s the cost for the 915iS T overhaul? Median is fine
- are there any ADs for the plane?
-What service centers do you recommend in Florida? (I’ll check their hourly)
-which are the plane’s known issues?
-what special or specific care should be taken with it?


I know IFR Means it will feel like riding a boat , but have you done it.

The only issue that comes to mind is obscurity. I've never heard of it.

I don’t know of many 915 overhauls. The Sling Tsi in California just got to 1200 hours, and they sent the engine back to Rotax for analysis. Expectation is Rotax will extend to 2,000 hours.

Are you looking at the LSA variant? Or some experimental flavor that doesn't really exist?
