literally asking for a friend. for real. I'm not just saying that this time.

FlyQ is $20/yr, with IFR, for CFIs. I’m pushing 10 yrs with it, very happy.

Can pass along that discount to students for a one year trial.

I thought WingX was a Flight Sim gadget. Does it do the stuff FF and GP does also on phones and pads?
Once upon a time WingX Pro and Foreflight were the only two EFBs out there and leapfrogged each other with feature improvements almost daily. Look for Foreflight vs WingX arguments from those days. Makes any Foreflight vs Pilot argument seem like a mutual admiration society.

At some point, Foreflight pulled ahead (we can speculate on the reasons) and Hilton just stopped adding features and turned attention to the Defense Department. I used to keep it as a backup because it was free to me as a CFI, but i I installed it several years ago.

ah, I think you are thinking of a different product also called WingX.
