Calling Midwest airplane owners: get those bugs washed off of your plane at KJVL this Saturday, 29 August from 0800-1500. The proceeds go to a good cause to bring more kids into aviation. And, you could grab some grub at Kealy's Kafe to boot!

I have no affiliation with this group, and I'm unlikely to pay to get a rental plane washed, but this seems like a great thing to support. You may want to confirm this before flying to Janesville.

Sounds like a good cause although I already washed our school airplane yesterday.

I had enough pilots (sarcastically) asking me to do theirs! I felt like I was 16 washing airplanes for flight time.

I am thinking I may be able to go up there to take advantage of this. I have a meeting until 11:30. BTW time I head up to the airport and take off it would close to 1pm and JVL is only 30 minutes away. If anyone is interested in late lunch while the planes are being washed let me know and I can meet ya!
 
Depending on when I pick up my plane today, I could make a run over there.
