I'm headed up to Cheyenne, Wy Wednesday for my second round of railroad fun there, and will be returning to Denver Thursday evening for a Friday AM departure. I'll be staying out at Tower road Thursday night but could meet up somewhere along the I-25 corridor if anybody is interested.
Hopefully I'll be out of Cheyenne by late Thursday afternoon.
Mexican is sounding mighty good.:cheerswine:

Out of town through Thursday night so I'm out. Sorry I'll miss it.

Is this an opportunity for a CO-POA dinner?

I'm supposed to be returning late Thursday afternoon but I would not want to promise a time. If people want to pick a place and a time I can try to be there.

Thursday booked up last night. :( Going to a friend's house to design some radio "go-boxes" with batteries, AC/DC power, chargers for laptop/phone, lighting, etc... For Emergency Services work.

Hey Keith - I'm not sure yet if I'm available or not. Our grandson had surgery yesterday and Thursday is the day they're hoping he'll be able to come home. If so, we're helping the kids then. If not, then I'm free. Not much to go by, but I guess I'm "tbd"

Thanks to all who replied.
PM me if you want to exchange cell numbers. I think I'll be out of Cheyenne by 4:30 PM or so. That'd put me in Denver by 6:30 latest. I'm open to later if need be. My social calendar at the Holiday Inn Express® Tower Road is pretty clear.

Sorry I didn't make it back to town in a timely manner to have dinner tonight. Hopefully next time you are around!

Keith - my apologies as well. Grandson Zak did get his release from the hospital, but not until later in the evening.

No problems on dinner
I'll be back in May to collect data and probably relocate the system. This project could drag on a bit. Also I have some locomotive testing in the hills just outside Boulder in July.
I hope Zak has a speedy recovery.
Next time!

Thanks - they screwed the kids around on Zak's meds - nobody but Children's Hospital pharmacy carries the liquid version of the pain meds they prescribed, and they didn't dismiss him from the hospital until after the pharmacy closed. Failed to tell them they wouldn't find it elsewhere. Doc prescribed an alternate that somewhat got him thru the night but he was pretty miserable.

"hills outside of Boulder"? ??? I wanna come! :)

Well, next time is here. I'll be back in Cheyenne on Monday 5/23 and in Denver Tuesday 5/24 night for a Wednesday AM flight to Atlanta. Any want to try again for dinner?

Man, it almost looks like I'm trying to duck you intentionally! Baccalaureate ceremony for my youngest on Tuesday night - he's graduates High School on Wednesday. Now I do officially feel "old". Even older than how I felt 4 years ago when I became Grandpa as our oldest daughter and husband had their son.

Sorry, I have the same problem I did last time only from the other direction. Probably arriving back in Denver too late to do dinner.

It's alright...........
I'm no stranger to abuse or neglect..........:D:D:D

I'll be in Seattle June 1-6(ish) maybe I can get Tom D to show me his new hangar.

Keith, post the next time you're in town. I have an ill relative at home that I'm taking care of, so no can do this week. Sucks because I live right up the road on Tower.

Keith, I might be able to do dinner Tuesday. Another aviation friend is also supposed to be in town as well. I'm clueless about good restaurants (or bad!) out there near DIA/Kansas though. ;)

A fair number of the chains are out there on Tower Rd.

Damn, I just left town yesterday for the week. Can I get a ride on a train next time you're in town? :goofy:

I'd like to give the greasy-spoon boxcar thingy a try, if you're up for it Tuesday night, Keith. I'm a "old fashioned Diner" junkie. :) Holler if you want to meet up and what time works for you. I will PM a cell number.

I just talked to Keith, he's been in touch with "murphey" (hi B!) and is headed this-a-way, but I just had one of those "sysadmin ugly" things come up at work where we're up against a deadline to get something working and it barfed during initial testing... so I'm stuck here for a bit. Maybe late. Will see. I'll holler at Keith on the phone if I can break free.

dashing out the door to baccalaureate - just found out my son is playing a guitar prelude while everybody gets seated, so I guess I better get there a few minutes early.

Got a call that they'd decided on running over to Perfect Landing. Nice! Wish I could have gotten away... I got home, pet/fed the elderly animals and by then it was too late. Will catch ya next time you're up in Cheyenne Keith!

Just got back to the hotel. Had a great time and a great meal! Yummy and awesome price. Much aviation speak was involved and many road warrior stories too.
Thanks to all who replied, and hopefully we can do it again sometime.

Next time, Keith needs to stay over an extra day and Nate needs to indoctrinate him on flying to Leadville in the 182. I'll follow in the cherokee.

Lordy, not in any of the weather we've had recently! ;)

Supposed to finally hit 80s this weekend, I see.

Sloshkosh came here this year. ;)
