DFW Folks - I'm Heading Your Way

Hey Guys & Gals,

I'm going to be in the D/FW area a couple of times in the near future - two weekends in a row, actually. My girlfriend and I will be headed up there on 10/30 for a builder's awards show (she does marketing for master-planned communities and she's up for an award) at the Gaylord Texan. We'll be heading to spend the rest of the weekend with her best friend and her family in Frisco on Saturday, but I was wondering if anyone and their spouse/family wants to get together for breakfast/brunch somewhere between the Gaylord and Frisco on Saturday morning (10/31)?

The following weekend (11/6-8) I'll be coming up there the fun way to bring the raffle plane to the Flying Musician's Fort Worth MusicFest at FWS. We'll be coming up on Friday afternoon since we need to have the plane in place early on Saturday morning. Also, our OpSpecs prohibit night flying, and the fly-in doesn't end until 6pm on Saturday, so we'll have to RON there until Sunday as well. I was wondering if I could ask a HUGE favor of one of you and see if I (and possibly one other museum volunteer) could crash at your place Friday and/or Saturday night. Transportation to/from Spinks would be awesome as well, but we can try to make alternative arrangements for that. As an added request, if anyone has a hook-up to get us free hangar space at FWS both nights, that would be helpful too (we are a non-profit, if that helps).

PJ, I might be able to help you out with a place to crash (couch?!) and transportation Saturday night of the FWS fly-in... PM me.
 
Hey everyone, just a reminder that I'm going to be up in your area this weekend and next. Nobody bit on the brunch this Saturday, so I'll just look forward to hopefully meeting up with some of you next weekend. Is anyone coming out to the Spinks fly-in? Also, I'm still looking for a place for two people to crash on Friday night, if any of you can help us out.
 
Dude, I so screwed up! I thought you just needed lodging Saturday night (I must have missed it in my first reading); I could have accommodated you for both Fri and Sat. Did you find someplace?
