Yeah. The balloon counts as an aircraft but not an airplane. :)

Although in reality we've just put very few hours on it. We're thinking we'll find an accelerated place and drive the RV up with the balloon in tow. We could even do the RV towing the Land Rover towing the balloon, provided we go through states where that's legal (it is in Kansas).

My 177RG lets me go where I want in a reasonable time with low stress and great comfort. This was really made apparent when I had to drive my truck to Arizona shortly after having flow my plane there during our move to Bullhead City.

Eight hours flight time seemed pretty long before I made the 21-hour drive time trip. Both numbers are actual in-motion time.

No, that was for me... I can fly but can't go anywhere because of COVID. Everywhere I want to go is worst than here at home or closed for travel.

(But haven’t posted about that here yet... shops are booked solid until end of Dec, so theres that...)
