Deferred Medical - no needed additional information

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has ever had their medical deferred, submitting information regarding the issue under review with it, and then received a medical in the mail without requiring extra information? Or does the FAA always request more information from you?

In my experience, the FAA will ALWAYS require additional information and NEVER make it easy. A bit of frustrated sarcasm there, but the FAA is to blame. As an entity, they are challenging (being kind) to deal with, even though there are quite a few pleasant folks that work for the infernal organization.

My medical was deferred, Dr. Bruce sent everything they could possibly want and had all the correct wording as well as the right letters from my specialists. The FAA didn’t request any more info and my SI class 3 was issued 90 days later.
