Yeah, seen that before, pretty stupid. Another one I saw last night was a guy playing and doing some aerobatics in small gaps at the top of some cumulus, really pretty, but unless he had an IFR block on the airspace, really stupid to publish since his paint job was unique and his tail number visible.

It looks to me like they cleared an area at an airshow, leaving a few willing victim obstacles for him to wow the crowd with. Haven't figured how to snag a video off my laptop but here are some screenshots. It is Skip Stewart per artwork on the airplane (whom I've never heard of).
