Hello,
I have an aircraft in CA that needs to be brought to SE Florida. Due to timing I may not be able to fly it back myself and am considering having it ferried. It’s a 2-seater, single engine Piper Tomahawk IFR rated/legal with up to date logbooks. When I flew it to CA in May total expenses (fuel, fuel, hotels, rental car when crew car not available) for two people was around $1200 for 4 days/3 nights.
Hoping for advice on finding a pilot (preferably a CFI) looking to make a reasonable daily rate. Great opportunity to pick up about 25 hours and see the country. Also, does anyone have experience with the bigger companies (Full Throttle Aviation, Ferry Pilots or WeFlyPlanes)? Start date is anytime between 7/15-7/28.
