Would have to be properly stored in the airplane of course, but would solve the problem of safely building a fire after the crash.
When I was a kid I stuck two of them together, nothing happened so I left them in my desk and went out to play. Couple of hours later they were just warm. If you don't store them with steel wool nothing is going to happen, this is like worrying about a hobby pilot's airplane hitting your house.

Only if you hit a house and knock the tape off the 9 volt batteries in the junk drawer.I thought these planes started fires automatically when we crashed.
