Cost of testing to disprove ADD

Hello, I am trying to find out what the cost would be to get all the testing done that I would need for a 3rd class medical. I was prescribed meds for ADD several years back filled them once and never refilled them. Another hurdle I will have to overcome is I have criminal convictions that are about 20 years old and I had a poor driving history up until I was about 30 or so. No tickets or legal trouble in the past 10 years. Totally turned my life around and I am now in great financial shape with perfect credit and living responsibly.

I thought I replied to this but maybe not. trying again.

FAA just simplified the ADHD qualification and I have gotten a few throguh on the ~$1,300 screening. However if it's not clearly normal then you do need the whole battery and that's close to $3K.

The criminal convictions, if they involved drugs in any way/shape/form, will trigger the demand for some random urines and the HIMS Psychiatrist evaluation- that's about $3K.

Thank you for responding sir. No drugs involved, I was just really irresponsible. I have read on here that your one of the guys to go to for cases like mine. I will gather all my records and email them to you if that is ok.

I had three months worth of ADHD drugs prescribed about 3 years before going for class 3. I got a letter from my primary care doctor who prescribed them saying it was a trial, didn't help, I function fine without them, etc. My AME called OKC, they said it was up to his discretion, and he gave me medical that day. Faxed my doctor's letter to OKC.

So my cost was $0 above the fee for 3rd class exam.

I did not have any other complicating factors, criminal history, etc.

Thanks, I don't go to the person that prescribed the drug any longer and with my other factors I may have to prove I am mentally fit to OKC..
